RICAVA TEQUILA
100% Mexican Company
We elaborate Ricava Tequila by hand, without haste, taking the necessary time to concentrate in each bottle an unparalleled seal of quality that concentrates the wealth and tradition of an ancestral culture. We harvest our own Tequilana Weber Blue Agave 65 kilometers from the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, on a magical land of red volcanic soil, where millions of plants are harvested every year that have earned Mexico the exclusivity and designation of origin: Tequila. We are a group of entrepreneurs, but above all passionate about tequila and the dream of being able to transmit to the world through this wonderful drink all the cultural greatness of our country.
LET'S CELEBRATE OUR AGAVE
Tequila comes from a plant of the agaváceas family, which is the agave tequilana Weber blue variety. There are around 295 different species of agave and only one can be used to produce the drink. Some other agaves of other species are used to make mezcal and pulque. So this would be the first big difference between tequila, mezcal and pulque.
Harvest
Our tequila is harvested in lowlands between 1,000 and 1,600 meters above sea level.
Fermentation
Yeast is added and works to convert sugar into alcohol.
Distillation
Vaporize “ordinary tequila” and what you get is Blanco tequila

65 kilometers west of Guadalajara, you will find the Valles Jalisco Region, Mexico. The region's red volcanic soil is exceptionally suitable for growing authentic blue agave.
THE TEQUILA VOLCANO
The Tequila Volcano is an inactive stratovolcano of about three thousand meters of altitude, located in the vicinity of Tequila, Jalisco. It is believed that its last eruption was 22 thousand years ago. This volcano is witness of one of the economic activities that have allowed to position our State in the tourist map, through tequila, a drink that has an excellent acceptance in the national and international market. At the same time, the hand of man has shaped such a beautiful agave landscape over time that it is currently considered a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO.
THE RICAVA PROMISE
A portion of the sales of Ricava Rosa Tequila will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Susan G. Komen.
Ricardo Avila's story
The founder is the visionary, he is the one who observes the market and finds the opportunity. My passion for tequila was born because I have more than 21 years of riding my bicycle in the agave fields in both AMATITAN and TEQUILA and it was always a dream to be in this industry that is an art, a tradition, and an ambassador of culture to the whole world and today it is the Mexican beverage par excellence. My responsibility as part of the tequila industry is to keep alive the passion for the art of making tequila and to be able to transmit all this cultural greatness to the world. And we work day by day, with enormous dedication to offer you the highest quality tequila. We always seek to do things excellently, without affecting other people's interests; we are an ally of honesty, respect, and responsibility.
